Russia, with a birth rate of 1.5 children per woman, invaded Ukraine, where the birth rate is 1.2 children per woman, to determine which nation with a birth rate below replacement level will disappear the fastest. In the long term, the only victors in the war to determine whether Ukraine will be 1.2 people or 1.5 people will be the Chechens and other Muslim soldiers who fight.

Chechens have a birth rate of 2.5. Their religion and their mosques are more likely to inherit the territories they fight for than the Russian or Ukrainian Orthodox churches.

Medieval Europe was able to recover from devastating wars and plagues, and a life expectancy rate of around the age of a postmodern graduate student, due to high birth rates. But just as Europeans discovered how to fight truly catastrophic wars, birth rates declined. World War II shattered Europe while the previous World War did not because the dead were never replaced.

The UK birth rate during World War I resembled the Chechen birth rate. By World War II, it fell below the replacement rate. Today, like much of Europe, it is artificially reinforced by the British version of Chechens, Pakistanis and other Muslim immigrants. Germany entered World War I fueled by an aggressive birth rate of 3.5. By the end, despite desperate Nazi eugenics, he had fallen below replacement rate. It looked like Ukraine until the Muslim birth rate came into play.

Russia entered World War I with a birth rate of around 7, by the time the Soviet Union collapsed it had also exceeded replacement rates. Like Europeans, its birth rate is artificially inflated by a growing Muslim population, legal or illegal, even in major cities like Moscow.

Every Ukrainian and Russian death is another loss that will never be replaced demographically.

Western Europe and Russia have divergent visions for Ukraine and the territories of the former Soviet Union. Europe would like them to join a wonderful union based on peace, tolerance and the import of millions of Muslims to balance all peaceful and tolerant Europeans. Putin would like to enthrone them in the Great Russia which will unite Islam and Christianity.

Europeans claim they can have a tolerant society built around the growing population of a religion that murders unbelievers. Putin says a new Russian Christian empire will be built on a multi-faith alliance with a religion that has spent centuries destroying Christian empires.

Putin supports this, “we have Eastern Christianity and some theorists say it is much closer to Islam than is Catholicism”. The communist era left more “certain theoreticians” than dead dogs in Russia. Historians might point out that Islam destroyed Eastern Christianity much more than the Catholic world. But, just like the Europeans, a childless Russia must look to Islam for proletarians and cannon fodder to sustain enlightenment and wars.

Vladimir Putin likes to play the defender of Christianity. A defender of Christianity would not send Muslim soldiers to invade another Christian country. But again, the Europeans claim to be the defenders of tolerance and yet they have filled the continent with a religion of intolerance.

So there’s a lot of suicidal hypocrisy in going around from London and Berlin to Moscow.

Putin maintains that “Russia was built as a multinational and multi-confessional state”. The European Union argues the same about its own goulash of nations. The problem is that the “multis” will eventually give way to a single university. Or, more precisely, an ummah.

Germany takes in a million Muslim migrants and Putin’s puppet in Belarus imports Iraqi migrants by the thousands and orders them to to invade Poland. It’s as if the gates of Vienna were recreated by maniacs competing to burn down their own civilization as quickly as possible.

Three years ago, the Grand Mufti of the Council of Muftis of Russia said one conference held in the Russian parliament on the theme of “the history of Islam in Russia: understanding with a look to the future”, that the “Muslim population will increase to 30% in a decade and a half”.

Dimitry Smirnov, Chairman of the Patriarchal Commission for Family Affairs, Maternity and Child Protection for the Russian Orthodox Church, agreed with the Grand Mufti. “Muslims have more children. Not Tatars, but Caucasians. The Chechens have eight children, and the Ingush. Russians will be exhausted by 2050. Other nations will live here: Chechens, Ingush, Arabs.

When asked if there was any hope, the archpriest replied that it was “already too late”.

It’s time to invade Ukraine then. And then Europeans and Russians can argue over which future Islamic bloc, Greater Muslim Russia or Greater Muslim Europe, should control Ukraine.

Regardless of the victims of the current war, Russians and Ukrainians are killing each other much faster than the other with more than 600,000 abortions a year in Russia and less than 75,000 in Ukraine. Both countries also have some of the worst suicide rates in the world.

Russia has the third highest suicide rate in the world and Ukraine has the seventh highest male suicide rate. These are not the characteristics of people who believe in the future.

Behind the dueling propaganda campaigns, the utter saturation of lies, lie these grim realities of despair and death. False nationalism is a front for the harsh realities that Ukrainian and Russian boys are dying in a pointless war whose only winners will be the hordes of migrants pouring in from the “Stans” and Asian and Muslim nations of the Middle East to replace them.

In the short term, European and Russian rulers and oligarchs expect to reap some temporary benefits from this latest episode in our civilization’s agony.

In the long run, they doom us all.

No matter what the various camps claim to be fighting for, a Greater Russia, democracy or nationalism, the only thing they are really doing is hastening their own defeat.

China and the Islamic Ummah need only watch and encourage alternately the two sides.

Much of Russian territory, like US territory, has already been leased to China. While Putin pursues Ukrainian territory, Russia proper belongs to China and is colonized by Muslim migrants. Russia’s takeover of Crimea has boosted Chinese investment in the region. Whatever Ukrainian territory Putin takes will ultimately benefit Chinese industries and their Russian intermediaries.

But there will likely be a board seat somewhere for Hunter Biden or Neil Bush.

America, like Europe, Russia and the rest of what once passed for the civilized world, has become profoundly unserious, crammed into the echo chambers of social media, shouting trending hashtags and refusing to think in terms longer than their attention deficit disorder.

There are always distractions to pass the time, to channel our indignation into the things that don’t matter to avoid thinking about the really important things that do. Wars are wonderful distractions. Especially the wars that don’t involve us and in which our only stake is a hashtag and a position.

But unless we start thinking seriously about the future, we will not only lose, we will cease to exist.
