STOCKBRIDGE, MA – Greek-American artist Peter D. Gerakaris’ mosaic installation of Neo-Byzantine Spotted Owls at the Berkshire Botanical Garden, 5 West Stockbridge Road in Stockbridge. Translated into mosaic by Miotto Mosaic Art Studios, the installation is part of the outdoor sculpture exhibition Taking Flight curated by Beth Rudin DeWoody. Concha Martinez Barreto, Tracey Emin, Rachel Owens, Immi Storrs and Ian Swordy also have works on display in the exhibition which runs until October 31.
